Did you know that your employer can help you finance your commute to work? Thanks to the Transport Allowance, you can benefit from partial coverage of your transport pass.

Since Decree No. 2006-1663 of 22 December 2006, all employers are required to reimburse part of the cost of public transport season tickets used for journeys between your home and your place of work.

💰 What amount is covered?

  • Private sector: 50% of the cost of your monthly or annual subscription

It's automatic, so take advantage of it!

👥 Who is eligible?

All employees are affected, including:

  • Temporary workers
  • Part-time workers
  • Apprentices

✅ How can I benefit from this?

Nothing could be simpler:

  1. Submit a request to your employer.
  2. Provide proof of your transport pass.
  3. Take out a monthly or annual pass with the relevant transport network.

ℹ️ Good to know

Single-use tickets are not covered. Only season tickets are eligible for the Transport Allowance.
