🚍 Lila Presqu’île: The network that gets you moving around the Guérande Peninsula!

Since 1 September 2024, CapAtlantique La Baule – Guérande Agglo has taken over responsibility for mobility in its area, with a view to redesigning a new system that is more responsive to residents and their needs.

🌿 A network designed for you... and for tomorrow

Lila Presqu’île is:

  • 15 regular routes connecting towns and key locations in the region.
  • A school transport service to accompany pupils safely,
  • And the little extra that makes all the difference: Lila Presqu’île à la Demande, a flexible service with two options:
    • Stop-to-stop: to go where regular lines do not go,
    • Door-to-door: for people with reduced mobility or elderly people, with pick-up from home.

🎯 The objectives?

  • Fewer cars, more freedom: encouraging alternatives to private cars.
  • Greener travel: promoting sustainable modes of transport that are accessible to all.
  • Improved quality of life: by making everyday journeys easier, we save time... and gain comfort!

🚲 Specific tasks:

  • Planning mobility: with a Mobility Plan that sets out the main guidelines for traffic, parking and intermodality.
  • Deploying soft mobility:
    • An ambitious cycling master plan,
    • An electric bike hire service,
    • Well-maintained and developed cycling and hiking facilities.
  • Organising public transport: with a Lila Presqu’île service tailored to the needs of the area.
  • Facilitating accessibility: so that everyone can get around easily, whatever their circumstances.
  • Raising awareness and providing support: because changing your habits is something you learn and share!

🚀 What about tomorrow? A new dynamic with Transdev!

From 1 January 2026, management of the Lila Presqu’île network will be entrusted to the Transdev group, via its local company Transdev CapAtlantique Mobilités. Their mission:

  • Ensuring the operation of regular routes,
  • Managing on-demand, school and bicycle services,
  • And above all, promoting modern, inclusive and sustainable mobility throughout the region.
